Welcome to the Matthew 25 Farm! We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity, with farm locations in Tully (Hamlet of Vesper) and LaFayette (Hamlet of Cardiff), New York. We work to ensure that no Central New Yorker goes without fresh produce. To accomplish this, we grow, harvest and distribute fresh vegetables and fruit to those in need throughout CNY. We also advise others on growing and preserving their own fresh produce.
Please join us for a successful 2017 season of growing and giving!
Rev. Dr. Karl Esmark has been the Chairman of the Board of the farm since its founding in 2009. Karl recently resigned as Chairman due to ongoing health issues. We thank him for his leadership, commitment and guidance. We wish him good health and much happiness.
A HUGE THANK YOU to several entities that awarded the farm grants for 2017. To date they include:
If you know of a business, corporation or other entity that awards grants in the Central New York Community, please email the farm and we will research the possible opportunity. Thank you.
There are always needs and ways individuals and group can help the farm, even during the winter months. Here are a few suggestions.
As a group (business, fraternal, family, school, church) plan a time to come out to the farm to help. Weather permitting, we will be planting apple trees on Saturday, April 15th (day before Easter). Starting on May 1st, we are open full time (except Sundays) for volunteers, through early November.
